This is the last day of week 3. The days have passed in the blink of an eye. I have spent whole days at my computer, reading messages, looking at websites, bookmarking the most interesting ones, building my blog, reading and commenting on others’ blogs, attending webconferences at Alado and LearningTimes, chat sessions at Yahoo Messenger and Tapped In, printing the readings to take to bed… bed? Not until 3 a.m. every day. Fortunately it’s holidays here in Argentina! The busiest holidays I’ve ever had.

Well it seems easy, but when I uploaded the photo it took a lot of time and I can’t edit it properly.

I had already tried Wiki posting comments and editing them. It’s the first time I create a page. It’s not so difficult once you master the not so many formatting commands

This is my initial foray into the world of wiki’s – so it’s very bare bones. I have to explore ways to use it with my students, but it seems like it could be a fun tool for a class.

in BAW the atmosphere is slightly more academic. Tutors give suggestions, a million articles to read and links to follow. It’s more or less like a university – you could play hooky and fall in love instead of studying or you could read all night long, discuss issues with like-minded colleagues and do your tasks. BAW sets no limits – when you conquer one thing, another one appears on the horizon; the student could choose what to learn and practice.

Er… Is this the original tabula rasa – the empty board? This application looks like the original drafting machine for the cooperative production of texts – though in ‘real’ life, for this kind of work, I’ve always used the tracking
option in WORD.
